A native of northeast Ohio, Pastor Brad Selan has served Windhaven Church (Mt Jackson, VA) since 2008, while serving previously at Albion Brethren Church.  Prior to moving to Virginia, Pastor Brad lived in Ashland, Ohio for 12 years, earning his Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Religion from Ashland University (2001), and his Master of Divinity from Ashland Theological Seminary (2005).  While a student at Ashland Theological Seminary, he was the recipient of the Outstanding Senior Leadership award, a Graduate Assistant to the Chapel as well as the Sandberg Leadership Center.

Pastor Brad married his wife, Cara (also a MDiv graduate of Ashland Theological Seminary) in 2002, and they have two beautiful children – Kayla (6) and Caleb (1) – who never allow a dull moment of space in their life.

Pastor Brad presently serves as the chairman of the Southeast District of the Brethren Church Board of Oversight, SE District representative on the  Brethren Church National Ordination Committee, and was previously an Executive Board member of the National Association of Evangelicals.  He also holds professional credentials in the Evangelical Theological Society.

Having pastored for over 7 years, Pastor Brad has come to strongly believe people are tired of “doing” church and yet, also are more passionate than ever to “be” the church.  It is his hope to see the church become a place of restoration, renewal, and rediscovery of who God has designed every man and woman capable of becoming for His Kingdom.
