At Windhaven Church, we believe that God designed people to be in community together. As the saying goes, "we are not an island unto ourselves." Hebrews 10:24-25 says, "And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another - and all the more as you see the Day approaching." It is this verse that guides our focus and motivation for making Small Groups a cricital component of our ministry here at WHC.
We encourage you to take a look at our current small groups and find where you might connect and build friendships, as well as mature in your faith.

Current Windhaven Church Small Groups:
- Mount Jackson small group: First and Third Friday's at 7pm, John and Kim Morgan leaders.
This group is currently in the midst of a video study, "Andy of Mayberry."
- Quicksburg small group: Every other Sunday at 7pm, Dave and Brenda Miller leaders.
This group is in the midst of a book study, titled, "Angels On Assignment," by Max Lucado
- Conicville small group: Second and Fourth Friday's at 7pm, Scott and Barbara Derflinger leaders.
This group is midway through a video teaching series by David Jeremiah, titled "What in the world is going on?"
- New Market small group: Second and Fourth Sunday's at 5:30pm, Brian and Sheila Lloyd leaders.
This group provides a potluck meal with each meeting and is currently studying the book of Acts and the early church.
Current W.O.W. (Women of Windhaven) study:
- First and Third Monday's, 6:45-8:30pm, located at Windhaven Church, led by Jean Martin.
The fall book study for W.O.W. is "Crazy Love,' by Francis Chan. If interested, please contact Jean Martin at pregnant@shentel.net for more information. This is an open discussion style of study and you are able to join in the conversation at any point in the study - we'd love to have you in the next meeting!
