Windhaven Church exists to live out the gospel of Jesus Christ through our acts of love, service to the community, and care for one another. We believe there is a mandate given to the church to exist not for itself, but for the community that surrounds it. So, at Windhaven Church, you will hear a lot about not only our small groups, women's and men's ministry, or even our youth group, but also, our efforts to clothe those who need clothes, feed those who are hungry, and serve those who may have never stepped foot in our building.
Much is made about church style. So, we should tell you a little about what to expect on a Sunday morning. When you come in, you will be met by a friendly greeter at the door who will be able to answer any questions you may have as to where things might be. You will find people of all generations, from newborn on up to 90+ years old, laughing, encouraging each other, and building genuine friendships. Once worship begins, you will find our style comfortable and relaxed. We have a full band who usually leads our music portion, though we do have a diversity of music styles introduced throughout the year. The pastor will deliver a bible-based, life-relevant sermon that will give you cause to ponder how God can become more real to you the coming week. There is also children's church for those who may be too young to sit through the entire Sunday morning service. We invite you to come visit us on a Sunday morning - Sunday school begins at 9:30am and worship is from 10:30-12:00. We look forward to seeing you this Sunday!
